The Thidaware Indigenous Americans Association is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), organization dedicated to the preservation, protection, and respectful interpretation of sacred Indigenous cultural landscapes—especially within the Frank Vaydik / Line Creek Park, located in North Kansas City, Misouri.
Our work centers on honoring Indigenous presence, knowledge, and stewardship that has shaped this land for thousands of years. We believe these landscapes are not relics of the past, but living places of memory, learning, and connection.
Education is central to our work. We believe learning is most meaningful when it is place-based, accurate, and respectful—grounded in the land and guided by Indigenous perspectives.
Our programs connect students, educators, and community members to the cultural heritage of the Line Creek Valley and the broader Hopewell world.
